Excited to be presenting my Masters Lecture Recital on Sunday, April 16th at 10:00am in Bryant Recital Hall. This will be at the College of Musical Arts in Bowling Green State University.

My goal for this program is to try and expose some unfamiliar contemporary Japanese percussion repertoire to western audiences, while presenting a brief, detailed synopsis about each piece. I will also be presenting two brief musical examples of unpublished, original manuscript that coincide with the pieces in my program.

The recital will include works by Michio Kitazume, Minoru Miki, Keiko Abe, Michio Miyagi, Dai Fujikura and Mayuri Sekizawa.
